How do I return an item?

Not in love with your purchase? No problem. Eligible items can be returned within 30 days of delivery. We’ll guide you through each step of our easy online return process, from setting up shipping to getting a refund or replacement.

To get started, view your recent orders and select the item you want to return.

Refund Methods

You can choose between two refund methods, minus return shipping costs.

Receive a refund to your original payment method. We’ll process your refund within 3-5 business days after you send the item back.

Shipping Methods

For items delivered via UPS or FedEx: We’ll provide a return shipping label you can print at home and help you find a shipping center or drop-off location nearby. For an additional fee, we can arrange for the carrier to pick up the item.

For large, heavy, or fragile items delivered via specialized carrier: We’ll arrange for the carrier to pick up the item at your convenience.

A modified return policy applies to some products, including mattresses and large appliances. For more details, please read our Return Policy.

What if my order arrives damaged?

We work hard to ensure every order arrives safe and secure, but if that isn’t the case, we’ve got you covered.

Please contact our customer service at support@makertohome.com for replacement of any damaged parts.

Be sure to complete this process within 30 days of your delivery date.

How do I make changes to an order?

Visit My Orders to easily make changes online. You will see available actions for each item you've ordered*, including:

  • Cancel
  • Change Shipping Address
  • Change Delivery Method

*Please note that orders can no longer be updated once shipped.

How Will My Order Ship?

We've carefully selected the shipping options for each product on our site to ensure you receive the fastest, safest, and most reliable delivery service possible. Each item's delivery options will be noted on its product page, as well as in the shopping cart.

Any Exceptions I Should Be Aware Of?

Deliveries are not typically made on Saturdays or Sundays. We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes or Military APOs. If you live in a non-contiguous U.S. state or territory—in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands—additional fees or shipping restrictions may apply.

Small Parcel

Signatures are not required for Small Parcel deliveries, but the decision to leave your package will ultimately be at the discretion of the delivery carrier. If you have any special delivery instructions, we recommend placing a note on your door on the delivery date with your name, request, and tracking number.

Deliveries will be completed by UPS or FedEx. Available shipping options will be noted in your Shopping Cart, but generally include:

Economy Shipping

Please allow the full processing time required to ship from the supplier’s warehouse, plus 3-8 business days in transit for delivery.

Ground Shipping

Please allow the full processing time required to ship from the supplier’s warehouse, plus 1-7 business days in transit for delivery.

Expedited Shipping

Please allow the full processing time required to ship from the supplier’s warehouse, plus 2 business days in transit for delivery.

Express Shipping

Please allow the full processing time required to ship from the supplier’s warehouse, plus 1 business day in transit for delivery.

Large Parcel

We want to make sure your order gets to you safe and sound. For items that are too large or fragile to be delivered via UPS/FedEx, we partner with carriers specializing in the transportation and delivery of Large Parcel freight so you can be rest assured that your order is being handled with the utmost care from the moment it leaves the warehouse.

How it works:

Step 1: Choose a delivery option for your Large Parcel item at checkout. Available delivery methods vary by item; all options will be displayed in the shopping cart.

Step 2: Your order gets picked up from the warehouse. We'll send you a Ship Confirmation email to let you know your order is on its way.

Step 3: Your order is shipped to a Local Delivery Terminal. A Large Parcel carrier transports your order with care to a delivery professional in your area.

Step 4: Schedule a delivery appointment. Upon arrival of your order, the local terminal will contact you to schedule a delivery date and appointment window.

Step 5: Welcome your new order home! Be sure to inspect the shipment contents upon delivery. If you have any concerns regarding the condition or packaging of your order, simply describe the issue on the delivery receipt provided by the driver and contact us for assistance.

Large Parcel Delivery Methods:

Curbside (You Unload)

This delivery method covers the essentials. A delivery truck will pull up to the curb outside of your home within your 4-hour appointment window. From there, you will be responsible for unloading the item(s) from the truck and any further transport beyond that point. We recommend asking a family member or friend for an extra hand.

Curbside (We Unload)

A skilled delivery team will unload the item(s) from the delivery truck and lower it to the curb outside your home. You will be responsible for further transport beyond that point. We recommend asking a family member or friend for an extra hand.

  • Appointment Scheduling: The delivery partner will call you to arrange a date and 4-hour appointment window once your item(s) arrive at the local terminal.
  • Signature Required: Yes
  • Packaging Removal Included: No
  • Assembly Service Included: No

Outside Front Door Drop-Off

Our Front Door Drop-Off service offers an extra set of hands. A skilled delivery team will unload the item(s) from the truck and take it to the first available dry area outside your home (front door, porch, or garage). You will then be responsible for further transport beyond that point.

  • Appointment Scheduling: You will be notified of your delivery date and 4-hour appointment window via email once your item(s) arrive at the local terminal. The delivery terminal's contact information will be included in case you need to reschedule your delivery. * Signature Required: No. You are not required to be present to accept the delivery. Your item(s) will be left in the first available dry area, as long as the delivery team determines the area is safe and secure.

Inside Home Entrance Drop-Off

Inside Home Entrance Drop-Off service takes your items even further. A skilled delivery team will bring the item(s) inside your home and place it in the immediate entryway.

  • Appointment Scheduling: The delivery partner will call you to arrange a date and 4-hour appointment window once your item(s) arrives at the local terminal.
  • Signature Required: Yes
  • Packaging Removal Included: No
  • Assembly Service Included: No

Room of Choice Delivery

Our less-sweat method, the Room of Choice Delivery option features a skilled delivery team that will bring your item(s) inside, and place it in the room of your choosing.*

*Upstairs carrying limit of two flights of stairs (up to 15 steps each)

  • Appointment Scheduling: The delivery partner will call you to arrange a date and 4-hour appointment window once their items arrive at the local terminal.
  • Signature Required: Yes
  • Packaging Removal Included: No

Room of Choice Delivery & Packaging Removal

Our Room of Choice Delivery & Packaging Removal option features a skilled delivery team that will bring your item(s) inside, place it in the room of your choosing*, then remove and dispose of all packaging for your convenience.

*Upstairs carrying limit of two flights of stairs (up to 15 steps each)

  • Appointment Scheduling: The delivery partner will call you to arrange a date and 4-hour appointment window once your item(s) arrive at the local terminal.
  • Signature Required: Yes
  • Packaging Removal Included: Yes
  • Assembly Service Included: No

All-Inclusive Delivery & Assembly

Our easiest, no-sweat method, All-Inclusive Delivery takes your item from delivery to assembly. A delivery team will bring your item(s) inside and place it in the room of your choice.* Packaging will be removed and disposed of, followed by basic assembly for your convenience.**

*Upstairs carrying limit of two flights of stairs (up to 15 steps each)

**Assembly includes light setup requiring basic tools, such as a screwdriver. Please note that the delivery team will not perform plumbing installation, electrical wiring, or services requiring the use of power tools.
